The text as we hold it

(1)

Nothing in this Act affects the operation of the Companies Act

(Chapter 39), and any bank that is liable to be incorporated or registered under that Act continues to be so liable as if this Act had not commenced.

(2)

In case of conflict between that Act and this Act, the provisions of this Act shall prevail unless otherwise provided in this Act.
