Save as expressly provided this Act does not apply to licensed moneylenders, finance companies or banks licensed under the
Islamic Banking Act (Chapter 283) or the International Banking Order, 2000
(S 53/2000).
Part 10 applies to licensed moneylenders and finance companies.
The Finance Companies Act (Chapter 89) does not apply to a bank.
bank
“bank” means a company which carries on banking business and holds a licence granted under section 4 or 23, and includes all branches and offices in Brunei Darussalam of any such company for the purposes of this Act;
The Moneylenders Act (Chapter 62) does not apply to a bank.
The Islamic Banking Act (Chapter 283) does not apply to a bank.
