(1)

Birth on board a ship registered or belonging to the Government of Brunei Darussalam shall be deemed to be birth in Brunei Darussalam.

(2)

A person born on board a registered ship or on board an unregistered ship of any country shall be deemed to have been born in the place in which the ship was registered or, as the case may be, in that country.
