s 45Register of licensed builders

(1)

The Authority shall keep a register of builders in which shall be entered the names of all persons licensed under this Part as builders, and such other particulars in relation thereto as may be prescribed.

Building Control

(2)

A person may, on payment of any prescribed fee —

(a)

inspect the register of builders during the office hours of the

Authority; or

(b)

obtain from the Authority a certificate as to the licence or non-licence of a named person on a specified date or during a specified period.

(3)

A certificate purporting to be signed by the Authority certifying that a person was or was not licensed under this Part on a specified date or during a specified period is admissible in any proceedings as evidence of the matters stated in the certificate.
