s 1These Rules may be cited as the

Census

Rules, 1971, and are made for the purpose of taking census of the population of the State of Brunei be­

tween the First day of January,

1971

and the

Thirtieth day of June, 1972 and shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st of January, 1971.
