If the Chairman is absent from Brunei Darussalam, or for any other reason is unable to discharge his functions, the Deputy Chairman shall act as temporary Chairman. If the Deputy Chairman is unable to act as temporary
Chairman, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan may appoint any one of the members to act as temporary Chairman.
