Where the registration of a society is cancelled under section 37
or 38, the Registrar may appoint one or more persons to be, subject to his direction and control, the liquidator or liquidators of the society.
Registrar
“Registrar” means the Registrar of Co-operative Societies appointed under section 3 and includes any person when exercising such powers of the Registrar as may be conferred upon him under that section;
