s 12Abandonment of proposal to reserve

(1)

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan in Council may, at any time before the publication of a notification under section 13, withdraw from a proposal to constitute any land a reserved forest.

(2)

When such withdrawal is determined on, a proclamation shall be published by the District Officer of the area concerned, in the same places and in the same manner in which the proclamation, under section 6 was published, announcing that the proposed reservation has been abandoned.

On the publication of such proclamation, the provisions of section 7 shall cease to apply to such land.
