s 21

Nothing in sections 16, 19, 20 or 26 shall be deemed to prohibit or render punishable —

(a)

the exercise, in accordance with the orders (if any) made under section 10, of any privilege conceded by notification under section 13 to take forest produce in a reserved forest;

(b)

the exercise of any right created by grant or contract in the manner described in section 16; or

(c)

any act done with the permission in writing of a forest officer empowered under section 51 to grant such permission.
