s 22OPurposes of Fund

Subject to the prior approval of the Forest Development Fund

Committee, the Fund shall be used for the following purposes —

(a)

the preparation and implementation of programmes relating to forest conservation, rehabilitation programmes and silvicultural works;

(b)

the recruitment of personnel including consultancy services, the procurement of equipment and the development of

infrastructural facilities necessary to undertake activities in paragraph (a);

(c)

the promotion and awareness building of the general public on activities related to the management, development and conservation of forest resources.
