s 18

{1) No money or other consideration shall on any pretext whatsoever be payable, paid, given, received or promised by or on behalf of any member of the Unit, either on his entry into, continuance in or discharge from the Unit.

Any member of the Unit paying, giving, receiving or de-manding any such money or other consideration or the promising of such money or other consideration or under-taking any service in consideration of receiving or promise of such money or other consideration shall be liable on conviction before the Court of a Magistrate to imprison-ment for 6 months and a fine of $500.

{2) Any person convicted under this section may be dismissed from his office, and all arrears of pay due to him may be forfeited.
