Any person who —
hinders, obstructs or molests the Director or an authorised officer, in the performance and execution of his duty or of anything which he is empowered or required to do under this Act;
Director
“Director” means the Director of Environment, Parks and Recreation referred to in section 14 and includes the Deputy Director and Assistant Directors;
interferes with any work authorised to be executed under this
Act; or
fails to facilitate by all reasonable means the entry and inspection of any searchable place by the Director or an authorised officer or the making of any test which the Director or an authorised officer is empowered under this Act, is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or both.

“searchable place” means — (a) any premises in Brunei Darussalam; (b) an aircraft, a vehicle or a vessel within the jurisdiction of Brunei Darussalam; (c) a Brunei Darussalam aircraft; (d) a Brunei Darussalam platform; or (e) a Brunei Darussalam vessel;
authorised officer
“authorised officer” means a person appointed under section 15 as an authorised officer;
Director
“Director” means the Director of Environment, Parks and Recreation referred to in section 14 and includes the Deputy Director and Assistant Directors;
searchable place
“searchable place” means — (a) any premises in Brunei Darussalam; (b) an aircraft, a vehicle or a vessel within the jurisdiction of Brunei Darussalam; (c) a Brunei Darussalam aircraft; (d) a Brunei Darussalam platform; or (e) a Brunei Darussalam vessel;
