s 37Fraudulent sale or disposal of goods by hirer

Every person who —

(a)

by the disposal or sale of any goods comprised in a hire-purchase agreement;

(b)

by the removal of the goods; or

(c)

by any other means, defrauds or attempts to defraud the owner is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or both.
