s 54Power to exempt from provisions of Act

(1)

Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Minister, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan,* may by order exempt, absolutely or conditionally, any person or class of persons from all or any of the provisions of this Act.

(2)

Every order made under this section which relates to a class of persons shall be published in the Gazette.
