Insurance and Takaful
Order, 2002 and shall commence on a date to be appointed by the Minister, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, by notice in the
Gazette.
The long title of this Order is "An Order to provide for the licensing and regulation of persons carrying on international insurance business and international insurance-related activities, to provide for the security and protection of long-term international insurance business and to provide for matters incidental thereto or connected therewith".
