s 36False declaration or statement for procuring marriage

Any person who for the purpose of procuring any marriage under this Act, intentionally makes any false declaration or statement is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000, imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or both.
