43. Penalties

Any employer who fails to comply with any order made by the

Commissioner in pursuance of the provisions of this Chapter or makes a contract of apprenticeship contrary to the provisions of this Chapter shall be guilty of an offence: Penalty, a fine of $1,500 or in default thereof imprisonment for a term of 6 months.
