s 14Appointment of Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive

(1)

The Authority shall, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, appoint a Chief Executive and a Deputy Chief

Executive for such term of ofice and on such conditions of service as the

Authority may determine.

(2)

The Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive shall be responsible to the Authority for the proper administration and management of the functions and affairs of the Authority in accordance with the policy of the Authority.

(3)

If the Chief Executive is temporarily absent from Brunei

Darussalarn, or is temporarily unable to perform his duties by reason of illness or otherwise, another person may be appointed by the Authority, to act in the place of the Chief Executive during any such period of absence from duty.
