s 8Vacancies in office of Board

(1)

If any member of the Board has died or is terminated in any circumstances under rule 7 or otherwise vacated his office before the expiry of his appointment, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan may, on the advice of the Majlis, appoint another qualified person for the residue of the term of appointment for which his predecessor was appointed.

(2)

All acts done by the Board shall, notwithstanding any vacancy in the

Board or it appears that there was a defect in the appointment of any person purporting to. be a member thereof, be valid as. if no such vacancy or defect had existed.
