This Order may be cited as the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters

Order, 2005 and shall commence on a day to be appointed by the Minister, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, by notification in the

Gazette.

The long title of this Order is "An Order to enable Brunei Darussalam to facilitate the provision and obtaining of mutual legal assistance to and from other countries in criminal matters and for connected purposes".
