s 9Onus of proof

If any question arises in any proceedings under this Act or with references to anything done or proposed to be done under this Act as to whether a person —

(a)

is a citizen of Brunei Darussalam or not; or

(b)

belongs to any particular class of persons exempted from any of the provisions of this Act, the onus of proving that the person is a citizen of Brunei Darussalam or that he belongs to such class, as the case may be, shall lie upon that person.
