s 1Citation, commencement and long title

This Order may be cited as the Pawnbrokers Order, 2002 and shall commence on such date or dates as to be appointed by the Minister, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, by notification in the

Gazette.

(2)

Different dates may be appointed under subsection (1) for different provisions of this Order or for different purposes of the same provision.

(3)

The long title of this Order is"An Order to regulate the business of m pawnbrokers in accordance with Hukum Syara'".
