Any person attempting to commit or abetting in any way the commission of an offence against this Act is guilty of an offence.

“person” includes any trader, manufacturer, producer, commission agent, clearing and forwarding agent and auctioneer;
The expression “attempting to commit” and “abetting the commission of” an offence used in subsection (1) shall have the same meaning as that used in the Penal Code (Chapter 22).
