s 6Provision for conveyance of patients

(1)

The local authority shall provide and maintain a suitable vehicle or vehicles for the free conveyance of persons suffering from any infectious disease.

(2)

For carrying out the provisions of this Act and the regulations made thereunder, the health officer may requisition any motor or other vehicle.

(3)

The owner of any vehicle so requisitioned shall not be entitled to claim more than a reasonable sum for the use and detention of such vehicle.
