s 60Duration of licences

(1)

Subject to the provisions of section 59(2), every licence granted under this Part shall, unless previously revoked or suspended, remain in force for one year from the date upon which it is issued.

(2)

Notwithstanding anything contained in this Part, with a view to enabling public service vehicles to be used temporarily —

(a)

for the purpose of a seasonal business;

(b)

for the purpose of the execution of a particular piece of work; or

(c)

for any other purpose of limited duration, a licence and if necessary a franchise may be granted for a period of less than one year, but not less than 3 months.
