A person who is in a Court may be ordered to give evidence or to produce any document for the time being in his possession or custody without service of a subpoena on him.

“Court” means the Syariah Subordinate Court, the Syariah High Court or the Syariah Court of Appeal as the case may be, as established under section 6(1) of the Syariah Courts Act;
