When it appears to any Syariah Court that a private person has shown unusual courage, diligence or exertion in the apprehension of a person accused of having committed, attempted to commit or abetted an offence punishable with hadd. qisas, diyat, death or imprisonment. such Syariah
Court may order payment to him by Government of any sum not exceeding
$1,000.
