s 226Certificate and consequence of judgment

(1)

When a case is decided by the Syariah High Court on appeal under this Chapter, it shall certify its judgment or order to the Syariah

Subordinate Court by which the finding, sentence or order appealed against was recorded or passed.

(2)

When an appeal is not dismissed, such certificate shall state the grounds on which the appeal was allowed or the decision of the Syariah

Subordinate Court was varied.

(3)

The Syariah Court to which the Syariah High Court certifies its judgment or order shall thereupon make such order as is conformable to the judgment or order of the Syariah High Court and, if necessary, the record shall be amended in accordance therewith.
