s 194Termination of imprisonment when diyat, badal-a/-sulh, arsy or compensation paid

(1)

The imprisonment which is imposed in default or failure of payment of diyat, budal-al-sulh, arsy. compensation or any part thereof shall terminate w-hen the diyat, badal-al-sulh, arsy compensation or any part thereof is either paid or levied by process of law or pardoned by wali-ud-dam or the victim.

(2)

If the offender dies before the payment of diyat. badal-al-sulh, ursj: con~pensation or any part thereof, the diyat. badal-al-sulh, arsy.

compensation or any part thereof shall be recovered from his estate.
