In lieu of itself making an order under section 339. the Syariah Court may direct the property to be delivered to a Syariah Subordinate Court Judge who shall. in such cases, deal with it as if it had been seized by the Religious
Enforcement Officer or police officer and the seizure had been reported to him in the manner hereinafter mentioned.
