Any complainant in a case who, before the judgment of the
Court, or after the judgment of the Court but before the execution of the punishment, confesses or it is proved that he has lodged a false report or has lodged a report which he knows or believes to be false is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $8,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or both.
Court
“Court” means the Syariah Courts established under section 6(1) of the Syariah Courts Act;
Any complainant in a case who, after the execution of the punishment, confesses or it is proved that he has lodged a false report or has lodged a report which he knows or believe to be false is guilty of an offence
Syariah Penal Code and liable on conviction to the same punishment as that of the mahkum ‘alaihi.
Court
