s 39Recovery of moneys due

(1)

All moneys other than penalties or fines, payable or recoverable under this Act, shall be recoverable at the suit of the Authority, together with interest thereon at a rate of 8 per cent per annum, and any judgment given or order made in any court thereon shall be enforced in the same manner as that in which any judgment or order may be enforced in any other action in such court, provided that in the case of moneys due, in respect of water supplied, action for recovery will be taken by the Authority.

In any such action, a certificate purporting to be under the hand or seal of the Authority that any sum of money is due to such Authority shall upon production thereof be prima facie evidence of such debt and of the non-payment thereof.
