Every licensee shall ensure that any animal, upon arrival at his licensed slaughtering centre, is given sufficient rest and water before slaughter.
A licensee who fails to comply with sub-regulation (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000.
