284. Appeal from acquittal

In an appeal from an order of acquittal, the High Court may -
High Court
"High Court" means the High Court of the Supreme Court for Brunei Darussalam;
dismiss the appeal;
direct that further inquiry be made or order a new trial on the same or an amended charge; or
inquiry
"inquiry" includes every inquiry conducted under this Code before a Magistrate;
find the accused guilty of any offence of which the lower
