458. Lurking house-trespass or house-breaking by night after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint

Official textFrom Attorney General's Chambers, unchanged

Whoever commits lurking house-trespass by night, or house-breaking by night, having made preparation for -

(a)

causing hurt to any person;

(b)

assaulting any person;

(c)

wrongfully restraining any person; or

(4 putting any person in fear of hurt or of assault, or of wrongful restraint,

shall be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding 30 years and whipping with not less than 6 strokes.
