3. Darussalam

There is hereby established a body to be known as the Petroleum
petroleum
"petroleum" has the same meaning assigned to it in section 2 of the Petroleum Mining Act;
Authority of Brunei Darussalam which shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and shall, by that name, be capable of -

"Authority" means the Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam established by section 3;
suing and being sued;
acquiring, owning, holding and developing or disposing of property, both movable and immovable; and
property
"property" means property, assets, and rights of every description (whether present or future. and, actual or contingent) wheresoever situated, including, without limitation. land. buildings, facilities, equipment, documents (incl-uding accounting records), interests, benefits, privileges and powers of every description;
doing such other acts or things as bodies corporate may lawfully do.
