33. Existing contracts and permissions relating to Company

Subject to section 30(5), all deeds, schemes. bonds, agreements, instruments and working arrangements subsisting immediately before the appointed day to which the Company is a party and relating to the portion of the property, assets. interests, rights, privileges, liabilities and obligations transferred to the Authority under section 30 shall continue in hll force and effect on and after the appointed day and shall be enforceable by or against the Authority as if the Authority had been named therein or had been a party thereto instead of the Con~pany.
Any permission. notice. warrant, consent, approval. certificate, direction. order. declaration or other document prepared, made, granted or issued, and any act or thing done or given by the Company relating to the portion of the property, assets, interests, rights, privileges, liabilities and obligations transferred to the Authority under section 30 is. so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act and except as otherwise expressly provided in this Act or in any other written law, deemed to have been prepared. made, granted. issued. done or given by the Authority and shall continue to have effect accordingly.

"Company" means the Brunei National Petroleum Company Sendirian Berhad incorporated by the Brunei National Petroleum Company Sendirian Berhad Order, 2002 (S 612002);
