In the event of a conflict arising from the provisions of this Act and of any other written law relating to the exercise of the powers and the performance of the functions and the discharge of the duties of the Authority, the provisions of this Act shall prevail.

"Authority" means the Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam established by section 3;
