Any person who prevents a legally married Muslim couple from cohabiting is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not
Syariah Penal Code exceeding $4,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both, and the Court shall order the couple to cohabit as a legally married couple.
