This Act may be cited as the Brunei National Energy Research Institute

“energy” means oil, gas, renewable energy, electricity and includes energy efficiency and conservation;
Act and shall commence on a date to be appointed by the Minister, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, by notification published in the Gazette.
