The Director-General or any health officer authorised in writing in that behalf by the Director-General may, in his discretion, order the disinfection and treatment of the clothes and personal effects of any infected person arriving in Brunei Darussalam.

“Director-General” means the Director-General of Health Services;
Any vessel which has conveyed an infected person shall be cleansed, disinfected or treated in such manner as may be directed by the

“vessel” includes any ship, boat, aircraft, vessel or motor vehicle or trailer of any description used in navigation by land, sea or air.

“health officer” means any person who is authorised by the Director-General to carry into effect any provisions of this Act or the regulations made thereunder, and includes any person appointed as a health officer or a port health officer under the repealed Quarantine and Prevention of Disease Act;
