2. Interpretation

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires —

“Board” means the Board of Directors of Perbadanan TAIB established by section 5(1);

“depositor” means any person who deposits money with

Perbadanan TAIB in the peformance of banking operations in accordance with this Act;

“director” means a director of the Board appointed under section 5(2);

“financial year”

means a period of 12

months ending on 31st day of December;

“Hajj Fund” means the fund established by section 22;

“Managing Director” means the Managing Director appointed under section 13;

“Perbadanan TAIB” means Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam

Brunei established by section 3;

“Reserve Fund” means the monies as defined in section 25.
