Section 22

(1)

There shall be established a fund called “Hajj Fund” vested in the Perbadanan TAIB for the purposes of enabling persons to save, invest and to perform the pilgrimage to Makkah Al-Mukarramah into which the

Hajj Fund shall be paid —

(a)

deposits from subscribers of the Hajj Fund;

(b)

such sums as may, from time to time, be contributed or loaned to the Perbadanan TAIB by the Government;

(c)

such other fees as may be prescribed;

(d)

monies earned from the investment or by the operation of any project, agency scheme or enterprise financed from the

Hajj Fund.

(2)

Deposits shall be repayable from the Hajj Fund with such bonus thereon as is provided by this Act, and such other outgoings, subject to section 23, as are directed by this Act to be paid out of the Hajj Fund.
