Diyat shall be paid to the wali-ad-dam of the victim according to their respective shares in inheritance.

"wali-ad-dam" has the same meaning assigned to it under the Syariah Penal Code Order, 20 13 (S 69/20 13);
Where a ~jali-ad-dam forgoes his share, it cannot be claimed by any other wali-ad-dam.
