A draft local plan shall conform to the Master Plan and the District
Plan before it is adopted.

A copy of the draft Local Plan shall forthwith be submitted to the
Minister for his approval in writing.
Minister
“Minister” means the Minister responsible for town and country planning;
The adopted Local Plan shall come into effect on publication in the Gazette.
District Plan
“District Plan” means a land use plan for each of the administrative districts;
