15. Neither the

Minister or the
Controller or any public officer shall be subject to any action, claim or demand by or liability to any person in respect of anything done or omitted to be done in good faith in pursuance or in execution or intended execution of any power, duty or function conferred by this Act or any regulation made thereunder.

"public officer" has the meaning ascribed thereto in the Constitution of Brunei Darussalam;

person
Defined · s 2"person" includes an individual, body, company, corporation, sole trader, firm, joint venture, asso-ciation, trust, syndicate, group, organisation, entity or a partnership of all or any of the foregoing, in each case whether or not having separate legal personality;
public officer
Defined · s 2"public officer" has the meaning ascribed thereto in the Constitution of Brunei Darussalam;
the Controller
Defined · s 2"the Controller" means the person appointed by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan as Controller of the Bank and the Finance Company for the purposes of this Act;
