At the hearing of the appeal, the appellant shall be first heard in support of the appeal, the respondent shall afterwards be heard against the appeal, and the appellant shall be entitled to reply.
If the appellant does not appear to support his appeal, the Syariah
Court may consider the appeal, and may make such decision thereon as it thinks just.
