228. Grounds for reversal of judgment of Syariah Subordinate Court

No judgment or order of a Syariah Subordinate Court shall be reversed or set aside unless it is shown to the satisfaction of the Syariah High

Court that such judgment or order was either wrong in law or against the weight of evidence or, in the case of a sentence, inappropriate in the circumstances of the case.
