No matter or thing done or omitted to be done by the Planning
Authority or by any officer or person authorised by him shall subject him or such person personally to any action, liability, claim or demand whatsoever if it were done or omitted to be done in good faith for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act.

“Planning Authority”, in relation to this Act or any Part or provision of this Act, means the person or persons appointed under section 6(1) to be responsible for the operation of this Act or that Part or provision;
